  • Developing in-situ non-destructive X-ray imaging techniques for application to geoscience

  • Led the design, budget allocation and setup of a new Thermal Ionisation Mass Spectrometer and accompanying clean lab, MicroMill, and supporting rock preparation equipment.

  • Working to translate high-order patterns in petrological information into real-time volcano monitoring.

  • Investigating the role of mineralogy in the Earth’s atmosphere and hydrosphere through time.

  • Using 3D and 4D X-ray micro-computed tomography to test paradigms of igneous petrogenesis
